A UNIVERSAL SOAP SAVER: POTENTIALLY A VERY ‘GREEN’ IDEA.

We live in a ‘throwaway Society’ – dumping tons of mainly food and used clothing.

There’s another very wasteful practice, which most of us probably don’t worry about.

It’s all about cakes or bars of soap.

It’s the practice of throwing away slivers (leftovers) of used soap. If we don’t throw them away they end up blocking the plughole.

All this waste can be avoided by manufacturing soap cakes as illustrated below:

And so the process goes on and on: No sliver of soap is thrown away. No waste!

What’s required is a production line with moulds that produce cakes of soap shaped as illustrated above.

I’ve created my own mould which produces soap cakes as pictured above. It works perfectly, and nothing is thrown away.

By the way, users of liquid soap in plastic bottles should think about the vast amount mount of plastic needed to make the numerous containers required

Mental health problems, including depression and anxiety, are on the increase, while treatment and support for mental health suffers is extremely limited.

However, there are a number of simple things you can do for yourself – and you can start right now:

Do a good turn for others – it’s called altruism, and it makes you feel good. Get involved in charitable work. Volunteer.

Think of others – it’s called Empathy. It helps to divert your mind from your own worries. Think of others worse off than youself: How lucky am I?

Think positively – set yourself challenges: learn new skills.
